New Hampshire Chapter 7 & Chapter 13 Business Bankruptcies
Written by CFB Blogger. Posted in Blog
According to a recent report in the
New Hampshire Business Review by Bob Sanders, about 157 households and businesses in
The Granite State filed for bankruptcy August, the fewest for any August since at least 1990. The total was 64% smaller than the 244 bankruptcy petitions filed last August and 17% fewer than the 190 filings in July 2014.
The August number represents the fewest filings in any month since May 2006, which was near the height of the last boom as well as shortly after the U.S. bankruptcy law changed, making it more difficult to file for bankruptcy.
