Arcadia, a restaurant located in Richmond, Virginia, which operated through
Arcadia Partners LLC, has recently filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy. The bankruptcy filing revealed that the business had a gross income in 2012 of $64,883 but showed losses of $34,000 and $89,000 in 2013 and, to date, in 2014, respectively.
The company had $264,000 in liabilities, including rent to its landlord and monies owed to food and equipment vendors and utility providers. It also owed $12,000 in Richmond city meals taxes and over $14,000 in state and federal taxes.
