New Hampshire Business Review:
190 bankruptcy petitions were filed in
U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Manchester, New Hampshire, in July, the fewest in the last eight years. That is 27% lower than filed last July.
To date there have been 1,541 bankruptcy filings, 15% fewer than in 2013. The total so far puts New Hampshire on track for the lowest number of bankruptcy filings since 2006, after the rush of filings when the rules changed in 2005, making filing for bankruptcy more difficult.
