Crossection Inc., a general contractor that has worked on a range of projects including the
District Chop House & Brewery in
Penn Quarter, has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy.
The company’s president, Totan Roy, filed the bankruptcy in the
U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. Assets listed in bankruptcy documents are $100,001 to $500,000 with liabilities from $1 million to $10 million.
Writing for the
Washington Business Journal, Daniel J. Sernovitz reports that Crossection, which was founded in 1997, specializes in restaurant and mall construction; most of its clients were located in the Northern Virginia area. Retail clients included
Aldi Food, Outback Steakhouse and
Carrabba’s Italian Grill.
Crossection also worked on the
Herndon Parkway Crossing retail center and did construction work for
Cafe Caturra in the A
rlington Ridge shopping center as well as for
Rock Bottom Brewery and Restaurant at the
Ballston Common Mall.
