Tastings LLC, DBA
Tastings Wine Bar & Bistro in Foxborough, Massachusetts, has recently filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy.
Tastings LLC listed $438,331 in assets, including restaurant furnishings, 2014
New York Patriots club seats with a listed value of $9,500 and a $7,500 deposit on a year of Patriots tickets.
The company’s listed liabilities of $257,262 include $225,000 for “lease termination” to
NPP Development LLC of Foxboro, which is controlled by the Kraft family, who own the
NFL team. Most of the rest of LLC’s liabilities are trade debts, reports Eric Convey for the
Boston Business Journal.
Tastings Wine Bar & bistro’s proprietors Bill and Patti Martin wrote on their website:
“It is with great regret that we must inform you that Tastings has permanently closed for business effective immediately. The combination of a weak economy, high and persistent unemployment, and high staff turnover has led us to this difficult decision. We hope you have enjoyed having Tastings be a part of the local dining scene over the past 6 years and wish you all the best. Thank you for your loyal patronage and we regret any inconvenience our closing may cause.”
