Follow-Up Article Re Calumet Photo Bankruptcy

As a follow-up story to one posted on April 9, 2014, on the blog pages of

Calumet Photographic Inc., which had recently filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy, has found a buyer for some of its assets.
According to an article in the
Wall Street Journal by Jacqueline Palank, court documents show that
CalPhotoUS LLC, a new business formed by Calumet’s former principals, has offered $2.825 million to purchase inventory, store leases and other assets.
The inventory and leases under consideration include stores in Chicago, San Francisco and Washington, D.C. Reportedly, CalPhoto will also take responsibility for any liabilities related to leases, former employees and customers.
The Chapter 7 trustee is urging the Chicago bankruptcy court to approve the sale at the upcoming bankruptcy hearing.
